Corner Bar Area Karaoke:

Inside the bar area sits the 80's style karaoke machine where people can request a song and have a go at singing. It's open to all and no matter how bad a singer you are you can still have a go!

Balthazar dressed in his sparkly suit, encourages any awful singing to be sung loud in his establishment for the night. If you happen to be able to sing, well---then by all means show your talent off! There is a nearby seating area if you just want to watch your friends/loved ones make fools of themselves. Just try not to fall off them onto the floor.


Main Bar for refreshments/drinks and mingling:

Feel free to mingle, talk, drink and munch down on some of the snacks on offer along the bar in small glass dishes. There are seats and stools at the bar so you can sit back or stand up (your preferred choice) if you don't wish to divulge into the karaoke behind in the corner. But why wouldn't you want to? Balthazar will be your gracious host for the night and the drinks are on the house!

There is a mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic for those patrons who have specific tastes in beverages. For mortals and immortals alike. If you are unsure just ask Balthazar. I'm sure he can find something you like!

"Mick is cursed? I haven't heard about this."

Zack just stared, wondering what was going on with the Spider's guitarist. Cursed? As in a real one? Surely not. Ziggy would have said something or would he? The blond was known to be a drunken mess when he'd had too much to drink but then weren't all the rock stars the same? Zack being one of the few who hardly drank at all in excess along with perhaps Damien, Rik, Tom and Robert.

"Surge protectors are useful and I know quite a few musicians who use them. Joe has never used one even though he's blown a few amps up with his bass. Billy? Well, he hasn't even blown that many amps before so it's cool."

The Hell's Angels had blown a few but not too many. As for crazy band bowling? Hell yes!

“Not literally cursed.” Minoru tried to specify. “At least, I don’t think so?”

He glanced at his brother, and then back at Zack. It was just a figure of speech for being unlucky around electronics, right? Or was nobody literally that unlucky that a simple surge protector became the ideal Christmas gift?

“That’s not a real thing, is it?”

"I don't really believe in curses and stuff but I know some of the other band members do like Aarne and a few of the other Scandinavians. Maybe they think Mick's been cursed. Poor guy. I just think maybe he's uh---a little clumsy with tuning things up too high?"

Zack trying to be polite about Mick's poor fortune with electronics. It could happen to anyone though, yes? The young drummer couldn't help but smile mischievously at the whole thing though because Ziggy's blond boyfriend needed something at least regarding his electronics nightmare.

"Well, at least he can't blow up a bowling ball. Those are safe."

Don't speak too soon, Zack.

Minoru scratched his head. “I never thought about it being an actual curse…”

Maybe that was something to bring up with Aarne at some point.

“As long as we avoid, say, a hydraulic press or extreme fluctuations in temperature, we should be safe.” Isamu clarified from a scientific perspective. “However, as previously indicated, it would be in all of our best interests to have someone else keep score in his stead.”

Running gags were running gags for a reason.

"I don't believe in them but maybe poor Mick is just unlucky with electronics? It can happen to any of us. He's good with his guitar though since he's shown me some of his epic riffs and stuff before."

Zack loved how the older man could flat out riff so aggressively whilst using a guitar pedal raising the pitch and tone to all new levels. The drummer didn't know much about guitars at all but Mick soon explained to the younger man.

"Hydraulic press? I know the bowling machine pops the balls out somehow but I don't know how it does. I'm more into throwing them down the aisle and getting a strike. Maybe you could keep score, Isamu. You're good with numbers and don't get drunk."

“I mean, here in the Nexus, there’s a lot more real things than most people ever thought possible.” He tilted his head toward a literal angel serving drinks. Enough said. “I have no idea.”

Isamu, meanwhile, pulled out his pinpoint, and did a quick search. He held it up for Zack to watch a quick video.

“As long as we are not intentionally doing that,” he specified, “then we should be fine.”

Zack leaned into watch the video on Minoru's PINpoint and went wide-eyed at what he was seeing. Woah! It literally crushed a whole bowling ball! The power on that--

"That's epic! I mean dangerous but still really cool. Yeah, I don't think we'll be doing that since to win then game you have to get strikes not crush the ball."

The drummer giggled a little at that.

“Then, we’re on. Definitely!” Minoru grinned.

Isamu nodded as well. “Select a date and time, and let us know which city you are in, and we will be there.”

Unless, between now and then something along the lines of ‘Nexus Lanes’ opens for business - because random things like that do happen here.

"Ok, cool! Sure. I'll let you boys know when we do sort a date for then bowling. It'll be really fun."

Zack was excited about this and went back to the bar to get another soda and to tell the other band members about his plan for a band bowling evening. What a chaotic load of fun it will be.
